What is a cab mount relocation (CMR) kit?
A cab mount relocation or body mount relocation kit replaces the factory the cab/body mount with a new smaller cab mount, creating clearance for larger tires (typically 34s and up) while maintaining strength.
Do I need a cab mount relocation to run 35s on my 4Runner?
Yes, if you plan to off-road. A cab mount chop may clear 35s for street driving, but under articulation the tires will contact the mount. A CMR ensures proper clearance.
Will a cab mount relocation affect ride quality?
No. With DRT’s smaller OD polyurethane bushing and boxed design, ride quality remains the same while strength and clearance improve.
Can I install a cab mount relocation kit myself?
