The flimsy stock hangers on 2005+ Tacomas don’t allow the leaf springs to perform like they should. Causing a shuttering rear end, pre-mature wear and tear and sometimes even bending altogether. Pairing these with aftermarket leaf springs that yield more travel will unlock the handling characteristics that you’re looking for not only with improved geometry but by stiffening the hanger to prevent deflection. Allowing the leaf springs to perform like they should. The shackle pivot is moved back allowing the leaf springs to cycle through the wheel travel cleanly with improved geometry. The shackle is lengthened to maintain minimal ride height change.
