Built Light, Built Right. A 2nd Gen Tacoma front bumper engineered for 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 Toyota Tacoma builds. The DRT Hybrid is a steel front bumper that delivers maximum approach angle, integrated winch mount, and lighting versatility in a single platform.
The DRT Hybrid blends US-sourced DOM steel where impacts happen with a rigid CNC-bent 5052 aluminum center to cut weight without cutting corners. Backed by bolt-on frame supports and 1" CNC-machined steel recovery points, it's built to take real abuse while running up to 35 lbs lighter than the competition.

Engineering Philosophy
DRT bumpers are designed with intentional load paths, not overbuilt with unnecessary weight. The DOM tubing in our side wings is seamless and significantly stronger than the HREW tubing many competitors use. The CNC-bent 5052 aluminum center uses a pocketed geometry that adds rigidity across multiple planes, like folding a sheet of paper to resist bending. Winch Bumper Capability
Integrated winch mount fits most 10K-12K winches without control box relocation (a minor grille support notch may be required). Recessed fairlead mount built into the 1/4" aluminum skid plate. This is a true winch bumper, not a bumper with a winch tray bolted on.
Off-Road Lighting Versatility

Recovery Points for Trail Use
1" CNC-machined steel D-rings, welded front and back inside and out. Designed for 3/4" shackles with 7/8" pin. Engineered with laminated load paths to spread recovery force into the frame, not concentrate it. Stronger than the laser-cut recovery plates used on many competitor bumpers.
Frame Support: Fixing the Tacoma's Known Weak Point
The Tacoma's factory bumper mounts are notoriously thin and fatigue easily under the weight of a steel bumper and winch. Our bolt-on frame support system bolts through the frame, then wraps around the front of the bumper mounts perpendicular to the factory plates. This provides lateral resistance and prevents sagging, cracking, and long-term fatigue. Included standard, $100 value.
Suspension Compatibility
Designed to clear and work with aftermarket shock reservoirs including King, Fox, and ADS.

Shipping
Free freight shipping to all addresses in the Lower 48. Ships freight to the nearest terminal unless shipping to a business address with a forklift. Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories calculated at checkout.
Finish
Ships raw steel. Finishing is strongly recommended before installation.

Shipping
Hand-built in Gilbert, AZ. Bumpers ship freight from our Arizona shop, and rates are tiered by region and stack per bumper.
Bumpers ship freight to the nearest LTL terminal unless you're shipping to a business address with a forklift. Additional bumpers in the same order ship at roughly half rate. Example: 2 bumpers to Denver, CO = $115 total; 3 bumpers to Atlanta, GA = $500 total.
